Yesterday, AC Milan announced that their CEO, Ivan Gazidis, has been diagnosed with throat cancer. Fortunately, the initial prognosis is positive and the 56-year-old will remain operative for the club.
As was stated in the official statement, after a series of extensive tests and checks, doctors predict that he will make a full recovery. We can only hope that his treatment will proceed according to plan.
Outside of Casa Milan, the Rossoneri’s headquarters, Curva Sud displayed a banner this evening to express their support for the CEO. “Ivan don’t give up, Curva Sud is with you,” the banner read.
