After Udinese scored their third goal last night, most AC Milan fans decided to leave San Siro to get the early metro home, but the Curva Sud continued to chant and sing.
It wasn’t exactly a fun Saturday evening for those who had made their way to San Siro for Milan’s game against Udinese. Understandably so, while I’m personally not an advocate for leaving early, many decided to leave the stadium after the third goal.
Not having to wait in a massive queue for the metro doesn’t sound like such a bad idea, not to mention that you could be doing a lot more fun on a Saturday evening… Anyway, while San Siro was half empty due to the above, the Curva Sud continued to chant.
Many have criticised the Milan ultras for not backing the team enough, but yesterday, they certainly showed that they are ultimately the ones who back Massimiliano Allegri’s men the most. They will need their support now more than ever.
Juventus are up in two weeks and looking at the standings now, it’s clear that it will be a decisive game for the Champions League race. Luciano Spalletti has already set his sights on leapfrogging the Rossoneri…

Confirmed Milan has the worst curva. They should be protesting this management. Instead they cheer
Quite the opposite, they cheer for the team when its needed the most, and they criticise the management when there is a right time to do it. Right now is not the right time.
