Watch: Emerson Royal meets Milan fans outside Via Dante store

By Oliver Fisher -

Emerson Royal was officially unveiled as an AC Milan player today after his signing was confirmed yesterday, and he met some fans outside of the new club store on Via Dante.

Milan announced the signing of the Brazilian yesterday on a permanent transfer from Tottenham Hotspur, with the former Barcelona man penning a deal until 2028 and becoming the third signing of the summer.

He did his press conference at Casa Milan today and answered questions from journalists, while after that he went to the new flagship store in the city centre to greet fans, sign autographs and pose for pictures.

    1. Completely baffled by the pursuit, but now that he’s here, of course he would get all my support. Good luck Emerson. Hopefully you’d prove us wrong.

  1. Looks like this guy really wanted to come to Milan. I see him enthusiastic and eager to confirm. I know that many of us do not have high expectations from him, but who knows, maybe he will surprise us all with good developments. At least he seems keen to do so with his positive attitude. It doesn’t seem to me that he came bored and blasé.

  2. OMG. Are these “fans” paid by the management?Honestly who can get excited for this player. We are giving away Kalulu to Juve and while it’s true that it’s been a while that Kalulu showed any glimpses of greatness, he has more good actions in one season than Emerson through all his footballer life.

This team so far is a massive downgrade from last season.

    1. Lol how many Tottenham games did you watch last season I’m pretty sure none. The guy hasn’t played yet and you never know what will happen.

  3. No we are Milanista, true Milanista, we support our players whether it’s Digao or Kaka, it’s you fake glory hunters that come here and and think this is PSG or Man City. It was great seeing him proud to wear the badge. Maybe you should come to Milano and experience what it means to be a true supporter.

    1. Well said, Fabri. Fake supporters here think they know football better than everybody else. Once a player sign, the only think we can do is support him. By supporting him, we support Milan. He’s not bad as people here are claiming. I bet they will get on board when he starts playing. I just hope he does good because I can’t stand seeing Calabria as the only starter for Milan’s right back.

  4. I really don’t know why, from the very beginning of connecting his name in the context of Milan’s interests, so many negative comments about this man immediately accumulated!? I haven’t followed the Tottenham games, but from all possible information the man simply can’t be as bad as some here have described him! Maybe it wouldn’t be bad if we at least give him a chance to show what he knows.
