Daniel Maldini came off the bench for Milan in their friendly against Nice last night, getting around 30 minutes in his legs. The performance was promising as the youngster linked up well with his teammates.
Daniel, of course, is the son of Paolo Maldini and it’s nice to see him performing well with the Milan shirt. And it’s becoming very clear that he isn’t in the team just because of his name, but rather his qualities.
As you can see in the video by CompsACM below, the attacking midfielder linked up well in attack and was smart with his movements. He also had a few good flicks and one satisfying dummy, in particular.

Maldini has good technique…..and good physique,,tall player..he can improve with more game time…..Pioli needs to give him more time..he can play LW..or CAM..LCM as part of a 4-3-3

Like father like son. I wish Pioli will give him more playing time this season to proof and improve his quality.
