AC Milan got their revenge this afternoon as they managed to beat Spezia by 2-1, after having lost that fixture 2-0 last season. Daniel Maldini and Brahim Diaz were the heroes as they scored the crucial goals.
Maldini made his first league start for the Rossoneri this afternoon, replacing Brahim Diaz who needed some rest. And it was the perfect full debut for Paolo’s son, as he headed in the opener in the 48th minute.
Spezia eventually equalised and Pioli was forced to bring on Diaz off the bench. The Spaniard needed just four minutes and then it was 2-1 Milan. You can take a look at the highlights of the game below.
