It was a successful night for AC Milan’s French contingent as Olivier Giroud and Theo Hernandez helped France to a thrilling victory over Chile in an international friendly.
Having fallen behind at the Stade Velodrome in Marseille, France hit back with Youssouf Fofana scoring.
They then took the lead as Theo Hernandez stood on the ball and played a delicate cross into the box where Randal Kolo Muani was waiting to head the ball into the back of the net.
In the second half, a Hernandez free-kick was met at the far post by Giroud but he couldn’t get the right connection.
Minutes later, Giroud had his goal as Kolo Muani danced into the box and put it on a plate for the Milan man who fired into the roof of the net amidst speculation about his future.
Mike Maignan was the starting goalkeeper for France in this match that ended 3-2 to Les Bleus, with Milan players proving instrumental.
Giroud gave green light for LAFC free transfer.
Now we know who have last ac milan season.
A sad thing as he’s still proven to be reliable source for us. A good thing because with this, we don’t have no choice but to bring a decent #9 next season. A long overdue thing.
Each time I see Kolo Muani have a good game I get annoyed we chose Origi over him hahah
He have a good game today, playing with Chile defence.
Giroud keep scoring when getting chances. And Theo keep delivering. Maignan decent although should be better for Chile’s first goal.
Well as long as no injury.
The OL-G. Always underrated, always delivers.
Kolo Muani ..
