Watch: Highlights of Reijnders’ first start for Milan against Juventus

By Oliver Fisher -

Tijjani Reijnders was given his first start in an AC Milan shirt during last night’s 2-2 draw against Juventus out in California.

Reijnders has been getting to grips with things and learning about his new team-mates during the USA tour so far, and Stefano Pioli deemed him ready to start from the first minute against the Bianconeri last night.

He reflected positively on his performance in his post-match interview, while the Dutchman got a positive score in our player ratings and his highlights can be seen below.

  1. Lads, if you have watched the full game could you please kindly share your views about him? How did he fare in his first game? I understand that he has been only a few days with the team and it is foolish to expect miracles from him, but was there anything in his game that could gives us a hope?

    1. Good with the ball, very smart playing and for me the big deal was the piece take, he has an excellent shot in his legs

    2. He played well. Defensively needs to improve but on the ball he was very good. All in all for his first game it looked good. Problem is, I hope pioli plays a more attacking 4 3 3 because I still saw a lot of slow build up play. Loftus cheek was impressive as well if he stays fit a lot of people will change their minds about him
