It would be fair to say Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Zvonimir Boban might not be the best of friends at the moment, as the pair shared a spiky exchange before AC Milan’s game against Liverpool last night.
In the past week Boban questioned what Zlatan’s role at Milan is, given that he returned as a Senior Advisor which is not a position that holds a set list of responsibilities like a CEO or a sporting director and therefore gives a broad but also quite vague scope.
Ibrahimovic spoke before Milan-Liverpool last night and, as luck would have it, Boban was on the panel covering the game. Below is a clip of the exchange, and we have translated each of their comments…
Ibrahimovic: “The role is simple, many talk. I’m in charge, I’m the boss and everything else works for me. Even Boban [present in the Sky Italia studios] didn’t understand my role…”
Boban: “Nobody understood, to be honest.”
Ibrahimovic: “I’ll explain now: I’m in charge, I’m the boss and everyone works for me. We work in silence.”

Regardless that I will always be thankful for what he has done for us as a player he was always a pompous clown. Who the hell in their right frame of mind as adults speaks about themselves in third person unless they actually are morons.
Even though that Boban and Zlatan isn’t comparable in their roles I’ll take Boban in my teams any day any time all year around.

Well I get that he has always been about self promotion and I might miss some nuances in his acts but it doesn’t really change the fact that he often has come off as a buffoon by doing that.
Boban years in charge of ac milan was disaster 2 or you forget , if i had to choose between former milan players i i pick ruicosta to get back to ac milan as Sporting director he showed great work at Benfica i think now is their CEO

Zlatan isn’t doing himself any favors here. It would be wise to hold off all the comments until after the match. Because we hear the bark and the noise, but he has yet to back it up with his actions.
He will probably hide now again and pop out when we win again some venezia to show us his narcissism
