Watch: Kessie heads for Milan dressing room after watching Roma game

By Oliver Fisher -

It seems that there was a rather familiar guest at San Siro last night for the first leg against Roma, as Franck Kessie was spotted heading for the AC Milan dressing room.

Kessie left Milan on a free transfer in the summer of 2022 to join Barcelona, but he has since joined Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli where he has been scoring regularly as a defensive midfielder.

Despite the manner of his exit, Kessie has demonstrated an attachment to his former club Milan as he turned down a move to Inter after he went to Barca.

A video has emerged from last night showing Kessie – who watched the game from San Siro – greeting some of his friends and former teammates, before being led by Ismael Bennacer towards the dressing room.

  1. It would be nice to get him back on a cheap deal. Many players are already leaving Saudi Arabia, maybe he would be open to it.

Speaking of our former players, De Ketelaere was spectacular against Liverpool. Dollarumma was a complete liability against Barcelona, guilty on all three goals against Paris and he did a lot of mistakes overall. I guess they will get rid of him this summer, watch out for Mike.

  2. So so disappointed he left.
It really is whats worst about the modern game.
He is wasted in Saudi and oh how we could use him now!

He’ll be an old man one day, will he be happy that he has 50m instead of 25m or well he be talking about how he once played for AC Milan and how good he was

  3. Well, #bringKessieback was one of my aspirations last summer. The perfect moment to bring him back. When he’s deemed a surplus by Barca. And he’s bought for only 12.5 mil (when we buy other midfield players a lot more expensive to replicate / replace his role).

    1. Huge salary different. No discount tax anymore. He want big money on saudi too, no chance ACM can give him even half from saudi club salary.
