Mike Maignan has arrived at Casa Milan to sign his contract renewal with AC Milan, extending the deadline to 2030 with an option for an additional year.
Maignan’s contract situation has been the talk of the town for quite some time. Understandably so, as the Frenchman has been absolutely brilliant for the Rossoneri this season. Thankfully, the situation will have a happy ending.

As stated by Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, the parties have agreed on a four-year extension, effective July 1st, and there will also be an option for an additional year. This will be in Milan’s favour, not the player.
The goalkeeper arrives at Milan’s HQ
Just a few minutes ago, as captured by Antonio Vitiello at the scene, Maignan arrived at Milan’s headquarters. The same can be said for the CEO Giorgio Furlani, as well as the Frenchman’s entourage. In other words, everything is set for the signing.

It remains to be seen if the official announcement will come out tonight, but either way, the Rossoneri can put the long saga to bed. Maignan will earn an impressive €5m plus an additional €2m in bonuses every year, reaching Rafael Leao’s level on the wage bill.

GRANDE MIKE!!!!
Crazy, I thought for sure Redbird would let him walk after the season.
Well let’s not forget Tiji signed an extension last March and was sold in June.
This may yet simply be a method of extracting a higher transfer fee
Enough foreplay…. Give it to me already!
He signed it, according to Milannews. Contract until 2030 with an option to extend to 2031. Glad to see it done!
Correction: It looks to be simply to 2031. Bit of a confusion. Football-italia said 2030 with an option to 2031. Milannews simply says to 2031. Either way, a BIG renewal for this team.
Good one mike
