Watch: Messias gets on the scoresheet again with clever header to double Milan’s lead

By Oliver Fisher -

Junior Messias continued his impressive form by giving AC Milan a 2-0 lead against Genoa at the Marassi on Wednesday night.

Right on the stroke of half-time with the Rossoneri a goal up, Milan did double their advantage as Junior Messias scored for the second time in three games. A shot from Krunic was blocked and ballooned up into the air, with Messias storming onto it inside the box and looping a header over Sirigu and in.

  1. Messias has already done something in 1 serie start that Saelesmaekers has not been able to do entire season. And that is score a goal. Now we need another RW who can either start or compete with Messias. In my opinion, Saelesmaekers plays best when he is given the last 20-30 mins of a game

  2. Now, this is a competitive position.

I won’t dispute the truth that Salesmaker make good cover up at the back but, offensively he is found wanting.

I just hope Messias keeps up with the tempo, Leao recovers, Diaz steps up, and Ibrahimovic injury free.

    Tomori was exceptional
    Mike was magic
