Watch: Milan defender Tomori sends Liverpool’s Origi absolutely flying with shoulder barge

By Oliver Fisher -

There were many interesting battles all over the pitch during last night’s game between Liverpool and AC Milan at Anfield, and one got particularly physical.

Milan’s centre-back pairing of Simon Kjaer and Fikayo Tomori were given the difficult task of keeping Divock Origi quiet as well as Mo Salah and Diogo Jota. Tomori rose to the task and put his body on the line, showing his physical dominance by shoulder-barging the 75kg Origi out of play in a 50-50 for the ball down the sideline.

  1. Tomori was everywhere at the back last night. Even the deflected goal was a testimony to the hard work he put in. He, with Mike (Maignan) were my MOTM for Milan.
