AC Milan brought in the former Wolves and current Wales goalkeeping coach Tony Roberts this summer to replace Flavio Roma. Based on the videos from Milanello, the 54-year-old is putting the goalkeepers through their paces.
Roberts is a very highly rated goalkeeping coach after working a long time with the Welsh national team. When he left his position at Wolves, Milan decided to pounce and the opportunity.
On their YouTube, Milan have published some material from Milanello, including Roberts in action with Maignan (see video below). Certainly, the coach is keen on getting the best out of his players.

Obviously he will get different kind of training.
Hardest part is that getting up from a rest or prone position. Those are brutal. Yikes. He looks better in that part of the drill compared to the last video which is good 😁
I’m very impressed with what is happening at milanello. Little did I know that we have a new goalkeeping coach. Our team is getting back to where we belong.
