Luka Romero, who is on loan at Almeria from AC Milan, was transferred to hospital last night after a nasty challenge in the game against Celta Vigo. It remains to be seen how long the Argentina will be out of action.
As a result of sparse playing time, Romero left Milan in January and joined Almeria on a loan for the remainder of the season. After two cameos and two games on the bench, he got his breakthrough against Atletico Madrid last weekend with an absolutely lovely brace.
In yesterday’s clash, however, it wasn’t as enjoyable for Milan loanee as he took a nasty hit to his head from a teammate (see video below). As stated on Almeria’s X account, he was transferred to the hospital for further checks after being stretchered off the pitch with a neck brace.

We can only hope that it isn’t anything serious for the 19-year-old, who was just starting to gain some momentum after a difficult season.
His teammate should be red carded for lifting foot too high.
Impossible. You cannot punish a team twice.
Yeah i knoe, just a bit upset for atalanta’s goal from penalty bc of lifting foot few days ago.
Get well soon Luka!A nasty kick indeed, hopefuly nothing serious
