AC Milan loanee Luka Romero was the protagonist for Almeria this evening as he scored a brace in the 2-2 draw at Power Horse Stadium. Both of the goals were lovely strikes as well, showcasing his lethal left foot.
Romero impressed during the pre-season for Milan, scoring a screamer against Real Madrid, and many expected him to get playing time during the regular season as well. However, after failing to impress, the Rossoneri sent him out on loan to Almeria in January.
The best solution for all parties, especially for Romero who was guaranteed playing time. Since joining Almeria, the 19-year-old has made three appearances and his best one came tonight. Playing from start against Atletico Madrid, he bagged a brace to help his side secure one point.
The first goal was a great strike from outside the box, catching the goalkeeper off guard, and the second one was even better with an outside-of-the-boot shot.
