Watch: Milan strike first against Salzburg through trademark Giroud header

Olivier Giroud got himself on the scoresheet to settle some of the nerves at San Siro as he gave AC Milan the lead against Red Bull Salzburg.

If Giroud had blocked an attempt from Bennacer not long before, he was the hero moments later as he headed Milan into the lead. A corner from the left side found the Frenchman unmarked and his effort was aimed downwards so it squirmed under the man on the line to give the Rossoneri a vital advantage.
