AC Milan’s ultras, also known as the Curva Sud, continued their protest against Gerry Cardinale during the clash against Hellas Verona this evening. “You have to sell, go away” was one of the chants heard clearly even on the TV.

It has been a week of tempers running high in the Milan environment, which started with the 0-0 draw against Genoa last weekend. After that game, the Curva Sud displayed a banner which expressed their clear discontent and they also chanted “Cardinale, you have to sell”.

The protests continued at the private party for Milan’s 125th anniversary on Monday and tonight, the Curva Sud voiced their concerns once again. “This ownership doesn’t deserve us”, “We are not Americans” and “Cardinale you have to sell, sell, sell, go away, go away” were heard clearly.

In the first minutes of the game, it was easy to hear even for those watching on the TV, and the Curva Sud continued throughout the clash. After the final whistle, when the players came over to thank the fans, the latter didn’t clap but inside continued with the chants against Cardinale.

  1. If the ownership doesn’t deserve you, don’t go to the stadium.
You won’t force anyone to sell their private property because you are chanting for them to sell. Look at ManUtd. 15 years later, the Glazers are still there regardless of United fans chanting to sell.
As long you give them money for tickets and merchandise and they post profit they are not selling.
I wouldn’t sell my private property either just because the customer is telling me to sell it

    1. It is a bit wrong to compare. Glazers are a rich family that has money. Over 10B wealth. Cardinale doesn’t have 300M€. He is buying with loans and other people’s money. He will sell the club at one point because he has to pay that money back. There is no way he can earn that amount through Milan to pay back the loan. So Cardinale will be forced to sell because his private property isn’t really his until he pays back the loan, and he doesn’t have money. Glazers actually own Man Utd, they can buy 2-3 more top clubs easy.

  2. Milan fans don’t go to watch Milan play anymore but to protest, that’s when you know soemthing has to be wrong, what happened anyway to maldini trying to help the Public Investment Fund in Saudi to buy Milan so they could hire him immediately

    1. Well he has to. He doesn’t have money so fans got no say but his financers definitely do. Cardinale can do what they tell him to do. That is how it works. Milan owner is not even his own boss in the end.

  3. Very nice. Keep it going and I agree protest should be outside the stadium, Milanello, and the office. Stop paying for tickets.

  5. These ultras are also complete clowns, like they don’t have a brain and just parrot what they hear from someone else. At the beginning of season they held praises for Cardinale and the best transfer window ever. What happened clowns? Did you take some money for that “best transfer window” thing but it didn’t work out? I bet they did, useless pieces of s**t.
