AC Milan Women secured three very important points this afternoon, not just for the standings, but also because they were up against city rivals Inter. Indeed, the Rossonere were thrilled afterwards.
Maurizio Ganz’s side had an okay game and took the lead early on through Christy Grimshaw. However, Inter found the equaliser in the second half and forced the Rossonere to step up, which they certainly did.
They found the back twice first in the 81st minute and then in the 83rd, courtesy of Martine Piemonte and Valery Vigilucci. Milan now sit third in the standings in the play-off round.
