Watch: Okafor and Tomori score in quick succession against Cagliari

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan scored twice in six minutes at the end of the first half to turn an unlikely deficit against Cagliari into a winning position going into the interval.

With five minutes left until the break, Milan got themselves level and it was thanks to a moment of carelessness from Radunovic. A low cross from Pulisic on the left was spilled by the Cagliari keeper, allowing Okafor to take a touch and slot into an empty net to get his first for the club.

The turnaround was complete in the first minute of added time. A corner was taken short on the right and Reijnders drilled a low cross that Radunovic could only parry into the path of Tomori who managed to bundle it over the line from a yard out.

  1. Tomori
    Adli
    Chukweze have been superb.

    A nice come back.
However, the midfield is too shallow. No one is waiting in between the defenders when Adli goes forward.

      1. Rate him based on the whole 57 min he played. Yes, no doubt, the goal was mostly his fault and he HAS TO get better in defence but no one can deny that with him on the field we looked good when in posession. 4th last on the first goal, 3rd last on the second. A 6 out of 10 performance I would say and something to build on. That goal he gave away is also something he will remember but he also blocked the big chance in the 55th minute.

      1. Naaah. It’s good for his confidence, plus the team is winning so no problems. But that doesn’t change the fact that he was the worst of the three.
