Watch: Okafor nets late goal off the bench to earn Milan draw vs. Sassuolo

By Oliver Fisher -

Noah Okafor produced yet another big goal off the bench as he earned a draw for AC Milan against Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium this afternoon.

The final substitution inside the final 10 minutes saw Adli make way for Okafor, and he had been on the pitch for just 90 seconds when he scored.

A corner was sent to the far side of the box and Gabbia took down a header with his chest in behind, then the Swiss forward hammered it first time into the bottom corner to level the game.

  1. this was in my opinion not even a bad game from us . if tomori played over kjaer or even gabbia and calabria over florenzi we wouldve conceded MAX 2 goals. the VAR and ref where the worst its ever been. i honetly cannot believe how they get away with stuff like this year after year after year. And everytime you think it can’t get worse… it gets 10x worse. This has to stop! someone genuinly needs to put an end to the agenda refs and VAR have against us because its so obvious and disgusting i dont get it WHY US all the time.

    1. Everyone thinks refs and VAR are against their own team but we’ve had plenty of favourable decisions too. The part that feels farcical is how much influence this has over how we know the game is intended to be – so many decisions are made because of following some rule that doesn’t exist for that purpose and that messes with the reason we play football with friends or down the park.

    2. If Thiaw wasn’t on the pitch we would have won it. He was responsible (again) for the first goal. This has to stop. Thank god he got suspended for the derby.
