Stefano Pioli’s reaction from the technical area after Samuel Chukwueze’s goal against Hellas Verona has been doing the rounds on social media.
Chukwueze’s first real impact off the bench was to score the goal that finally killed the contest, netting his first in Serie A, and it was very much worth the wait.
A corner from the left was cleared to the Nigerian on the edge of the area and he hit it first time on the volley into the far corner past a diving Montipo.
DAZN showed Pioli’s reaction with Giacomo Murelli when the goal went in, and rather than sharing the smile of his assistant he shoved him almost as if to let off some steam.
When asked about the reaction in his post-match press conference, Pioli said: “Ehhh, you mustn’t look at me during the match!”
