Stefano Pioli was obviously very pleased with AC Milan’s performance last night as they managed to beat Empoli 1-0. The Rossoneri weren’t great in attack, but the defensive phase was a completely different story.
Milan are currently five points clear at the top (Inter and Napoli will play today) and it was thus crucial to get the win last night. Pierre Kalulu, who has been in great form lately, scored the only goal of the game and also defended really well.
Speaking to MilanTV after the game (see video below with subtitles), Pioli discusses what was a ‘very positive evening’ for Milan and the defending of the team.
