Ruben Amorim was announced as Milan’s new head coach earlier this week, which is something that Lorenzo and Stefano discussed in the latest Pub Chat episode.
After a long casting process, taking a little over three weeks, Milan finally announced their new head coach on Tuesday. While some were happy to get the appointment over the line, others were keen to point out the question marks surrounding Amorim.

After all, he struggled massively during his time at Manchester United, which put a huge stain on everything he did for Sporting Lisbon before that. Rather than going for a head coach who had just experienced success (i.e. Oliver Glasner), therefore, Milan went for a gamble.
In their latest Pub Chat episode, Lorenzo and Stefano shared their thoughts on Amorim. They were both keen to highlight that although a head coach’s abilities matter a lot, everything is irrelevant if there is no clear project to fall back on.
