  1. Had no idea that is how you pronounce his name.

Glad he’s excited and I hope he can contribute on a high level to make the team better.

    1. It actually the American version of pronouncing that, there was a video on youtube where it was explained. Don’t know why they gave him a Croatian passport when he can’t even say his last name properly.

      1. Definitely an American pronounciation..
Correct would be Pulisitch (small V accent over c), Pulisich (Forward slash oblique accent over the c (softer ch)) or Pulisitz (plain c).. is correct Croatian

      2. That’s how it is in the US. Pronunciations get Americanized or butchered and people roll with it. 100+ years ago immigration would read your card and just change letters how they saw fit and it would become official.

  2. Forza Pulisic. Now for Reinjer and then Isaksen. Hope we can close those deals soon. Maybe even get Kamada whilst we can.

    1. Um, no it is not. It is pronounced however the name-hodler pronounces it and you can hear thtat in the first video.

Apar from this, a Croatian would read it something like what you describe, more like Pull-i-shitch.

  3. Wow. Milan getting an elite attacking player in CP that has tremendous speed, 1st instinct is to attack direct to goal, exceptional ball handling/dribbling ability, adept 1v1 skill who is a big game player that will score and assist in double digits in both g/a, especially if he feels some love.
But 1/2 the comments are focused on him not using the correct pronunciation of Pulisic, his own name.
His grandfather is Croatian so he was able to obtain citizenship and sign with Dortmund at 16 instead of 18.
