Watch: Scotti scores brace for Milan Primavera including lovely free-kick

Filippo Scotti, the captain of Milan Primavera, got on the scoresheet twice in the game against Napoli earlier today, helping his side secure an important 2-1 win.

After the 2-1 win against Genoa, which got them back to winning ways, the Rossoneri followed that up with the same scoreline today. While a red card played a huge part in the first game, today it was all about the impact of Scotti.

Both sides had some decent chances in the first half but it was in the second that things heated up. Scotti broke the deadlock with a stunning free-kick, curling the ball into the goalkeeper’s corner, and he then doubled the lead after a great combination with Francesco Domnitei.

Napoli pulled one back through a penalty, but Milan were able to see out the game as the goal came so late. Below, you can see the highlights from the game (courtesy of Milan), including the lovely goals from Scotti. By all means, watch the first goal a few times…

  1. Scotti was one of the players I was really impressed with when we played European youth league a few years back and as his contract expires this summer I’m a bit anxious that he will leave on a free transfer. Hopefully he will stay though.

  2. Whoever that is on the right receiving those passes in goal, but needs 2,3 touches to setup for a strike, needs to work on their shooting
