AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek scored his second goal from open play of the season in all competitions, opening the scoring for the Rossoneri against SPAL in the Coppa Italia.
The Poland international was given the nod to start up front alongside Ante Rebic amid rumours he could leave for Spurs or Aston Villa this month, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Rafael Leao rested.

After a dominant start to the game it looked like Stefano Pioli’s side would be left to rue missing early chances, but Piatek sprung the offside trap perfectly to convert a feed from Ismael Bennacer and make it 1-0.
