Matteo Gabbia and Davide Bartesaghi are already crucial players in the team, but the likes of Francesco Camarda, Christian Comotto, Lorenzo Torriano and Kevin Zeroli could be knocking at the door. Not to mention that some Futuro and Primavera players have impressed.

Yesterday, June 12th, marked the third anniversary of Silvio Berlusconi’s death. There’s no need to remind you what Silvio Berlusconi meant to Italian football, and to
AC Milan in particular: he was simply the greatest President ever, in both categories. In 31 years at the helm of the Rossoneri, he led them to a total of 28 trophies, helping several teams go down in history: Sacchi’s, Capello’s, and Ancelotti’s, to name just three. An epic that marked the history of football and also changed it, in many ways. A period that today, given the highly embarrassing situation AC Milan finds itself in, fans look back on with nostalgia and melancholy.

Well, perhaps all this should be remembered by those who occupy Casa Milan today, or should occupy it. In fact, yesterday, on the third anniversary of the death of the greatest President in the club’s history, the club itself didn’t even express a memory, didn’t publish a single photo or thought on its communication channels. Everything went unnoticed, and the question arose spontaneously: was it a blunder or a deliberate choice not to remember those who did what the current Milan doesn’t even come close to doing? The affront remains, and this gesture, whether a serious oversight or a cynical decision, has not gone unnoticed, casting even more discredit on the name and crest of Milan.
