The good news for Theo Hernandez is that he finally earned a call-up from the French national team, the bad news is that he had to do an initiation song.
France will face Ukraine and Finland in the Qatar 2022 World Cup Qualifiers and the full-back is finally ready to show that he belongs with the current world champions. He underwent the usual initiation while standing on a chair, opting for the famous Spanish song ‘La Bamba’ – perhaps a nod to his roots.
Moussa Diaby, Jordan Veretout and Aurelien Tchouameni all had to do the same, and you can see the result below…
