Watch: Tomori gets ball to ensure Abraham takes penalty over Pulisic

A video has surfaced which seems to show that Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham conspired to ensure that the latter took the second penalty against Fiorentina last night.

The story that seems to be dominating the media headlines this morning concerns the issue of who takes penalties for Milan after Christian Pulisic was confirmed as the designated taker of spot kicks by Paulo Fonseca after the game.

The Rossoneri got two penalties and Pulisic took neither, with Theo Hernandez and Abraham each seeing efforts saved by David De Gea either side of the half-time interval.

Now, a clip has begun circulating on social media which seems to show Tomori and Tammy – two former Chelsea players – getting the ball after a foul on Matteo Gabbia to ensure that the striker took it while Pulisic was stood nearby confused.

  1. The designated penalty taker has taken, and made, 1 of 1 this season. Theo, Tomori and Tammy (perhaps more) clearly do not respect Fonseca. Sadly, it is getting easier to see that changes are needed. Will management back the children or the coach?

    1. I agree with you they don’t respect Fonseca, if I were him Tomori would be benched the next two games as he has been woeful as well, Abrahams should be benched for Okafor let him get a chance from the start. Pulisic is too timid to be a captain for Milan, Tomori and Theo are not captain material either, we need morata or maignan to be the elders in this team and quickly, we have talent but seriously lack leadership.

  2. If you steal someone else’s PK you better make goddamn sure you bury the shot in the net and not at the keeper FFS! Never again, Tammy. Never again in this shirt!

  3. Amazing. After the water bottle gate, now the penalty gate. With Zlatan as halftime show and Fonseca getting less respect than a prison guard. The US fans are right, this is going in the right direction. Are you not entertained?

    1. Yes bartho. This is hollywood show. To make sure milan always in spotlight, with something like this, this trophyless cardinale milan will always famous, even though they got zero trophy.

Ibra, leao, theo, tomori, and tammy keep up the great work our stars drama. You make this trophyless cardinale milan famous.

      1. You can add cardinale as our stars drama. The event to fired maldini also great show, full drama.

After maldini get scudetto, then semifinal champions league. Nobody expect maldini get fired. From peak to bottom, Hollywood dramatic show.

Keep up the great work mr cardinale.

  4. I can understand that Tomori who’s been friends with Abraham for probably 20 odd years wanted to help out his struggling friend and gift him an easy goal scoring opportunity.
But in the end he made it worse for both of them. Expecting Gabbia/Pavlovic next game…

    1. I understood it last time when Leao wanted Tammy to take a pk, for confidence, because Milan was up 2-0 already. Even Tammy said after that game that Pulisic is the penalty taker. Pulisic obviously should have taken both pks being that Milan was behind but the second ones optics look so much worse. Tomori jumping high to grab the ball and hand it right to Abraham whilst Pulisic tries to do his job and come take the pk. Both Abraham and Tomori shouldn’t be in the squad next game.

  5. This Milan is not a team and Fonseca is not a strong leader in the dressing room. It’s time to get rid of few players and managers.

Starting with Ibra, Moncada and Furlani. Then working our way down to the coach and players after a proper CEO and Sporting Director is appointed.

This is disgraceful and disgusting behavior.

  6. Bench Tomori and put Pavlovic and sell Tomori in January! Tomori jumped higher to get the ball, then he jumped when he needed to clear the ball where we conceded due his failure. Who t‘f thinks abraham is ! Pulisic or Reijnders shall shoot. Sell this cancers and dont buy Abraham.

  7. Its absolutely pathetic that a bunch of professional football players who has dedicated their life to the sport can’t see how deplorable their behavior is when disregarding the coach’s decisions. When I played football I was the captain and even amongst a bunch of amateurs they would know not to step out of line and even if I had to do some mediating between players and the coach from time to time they also knew that there would be nothing to gain by acting outward in regard of his decisions.
The question here isn’t whether Fonseca is fit for the job or not but that they simply has to comply to what he says whether they like it or not. If players cant show that sort of professionalism and commitment they can all leave the club regardless whoever ends up as the next coach which probably isn’t too far away to happen either.
One thing is to lose a match which is expected to happen from time to time but dragging the club and its crest down the gutter is a completely different matter. Gotta say I find it increasingly difficult to cheer on modern day sportsmen who has bigger egos and salaries than talents.

  8. Clearly, these guys didn’t take the opponent or the game seriously enough. Thinking hey, we can let anyone take these PK cause we’re gonna score later is the wrong attitude.

What did they say to Pulisic now? sorry bruh?

Lots going out in that locker room I bet

  9. Abraham is a better taker than Pulisic is just that he missed it. Tomori did it because he thought Abraham can’t missed it. Why the chaos again? Let’s move on please

    1. Because Abraham can’t score a non pk goal and is lacking confidence. Pulisic is the designated pk taker and has been lights out. That’s the problem.

    2. Because its not their choice to make on their own unless the coach actually has allowed them to do such choices which he clearly hasn’t allowed if you read his post match interview.
Its basically mutiny and definitely punishable in my book.

  10. Pulisic has been scoring world class goals since last season. He’s never missed a pk. He’s the designated pk taker. He’s the only attacking player in form for Milan. He still scored a world class goal yesterday after the 2 botched pk attempts to get it level. No one but Pulisic should EVER take a pk again. Fonseca needs to make an example and leave Abraham and Tomori out of the squad next game. Don’t even give them a spot on the bench.

  11. More disgraceful behavior from our players!!

This is where having someone like Maldini is so important, he was respected as a player, a man, a legend.

    Now these players respect/fear nobody!

Theo should be fined for his sending off.
Tomori should be dropped and fined for his Mutiny.
Abraham, F_CKING ABRAHAM, YOU DONT EVEN BELONG TO MILAN< WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!

Pulisic – grow some balls man

Fonseca – nobody listens to you so you are ineffective, I will say for the 1st time, he should be fired now, we have some weeks to replace him.

Moncada – you are honestly the main issue, look at the mess you have made, I hope you are fired soon also.
Please take Emerson with you, keep the 15m, it's gone now anyway

No more rotating armbands and penalties, this is not a F_CKING school playground!!

    Next game

    Mike
    Calabria Thiaw Gabbia Pavlovic

    Musah Fofana Reijnders

    Pulisic Morata Leao
