Watch: Video shows Milan were robbed by referee when Atletico got the penalty

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan did very well to take the lead against Atletico Madrid earlier this evening but eventually fell, having played with ten men for most of the game. Yet, the Spaniards needed some help from the referee.

Pierre Kalulu was the culprit in stoppage time as he handled the ball in the penalty box. The referee pointed to the spot and Milan were immediately outraged. When we saw the replays, the reason behind that was clear.

As you can see in the video below, Lemar touched the ball with his hand before Kalulu, thus steering it in the direction of Kalulu’s hand. Very poor decision from the referee, by the looks of it.

  1. We almost lost at old trafford last season because of the ref. We could have won.
Away to liverpool we lost to a thin penalty.
Now we lose again due to the ref.

They dont want milan to be back!

  2. Considering Porto’s cancelled goal against Atletico I am kinda suspicious there’s a connection between Madrid with UEFA referee management.

  3. it happen in football though, mistakes happen.i wont dwell it.
BUT kessie on starting line up eventhough he clearly in poor form really bugged me.

    1. Pioli was only trying to rest Tonali, and bring him on in the second half.

If you watch closely, he played with an injury, same goes for Diaz.

You really can’t blame Pioli but, the nut-head Kessie for being shambolic.
