WeBuild GM offers his company’s services for San Donato after San Siro rejection

With AC Milan and Inter deciding against the San Siro renovation plans presented by WeBuild, the next topic is where they will relocate to, and the General Manager of the company has offered their services again.

The ongoing stadium situation is questionable, and if anything it is just an extension of the years of confusion that fans have been facing recently. Talk of the San Siro, or elsewhere, has been a consistent discussion, but progress has been minimal.

In an interview this week, Paolo Scaroni stated that the Rossoneri had invested €40 million into the San Donato area, but explained that a different option – a stadium next to San Siro – was taking the interest of the club.

Confusion is the main word attached to the future of the Diavolo’s home, and this is no new thing. Nevertheless, WeBuild’s GM, Massimo Ferrari, has offered his companies services for a new project, and his words to Corriere della Sera have been relayed by Milan News.

“New Milan and Inter stadium? We will certainly propose to build it. Our redevelopment was not a superficial renovation, but a deep one. The costs are estimated at €400-500 million, but the final project depends on the needs of the teams.

“For example, we have foreseen 10,000 seats in the Hospitality but we might need less. La Scala has also been profoundly rebuilt, with a major renovation.”
