AC Milan hope that this is the last week without a management in place, with decisions to come in the next few days.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) writes that Milan hope to have a new technical director and the new coach soon. Casa Milan has stated that it doesn’t want to rush things, as the decisions will be important not only for next season, but also for the future.

This is why Gerry Cardinale – who took control personally during this spring-summer redevelopment – intends to carefully evaluate the situation. However, time is running out, and those involved in the Milan casting process are waiting for a response.
Rangnick ultimatum
The Austria head coach has spoken twice with the RedBird founder, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Massimo Calvelli. He expressed his willingness to join Milan, but has made the choice of coach, sporting director, youth football philosophy, and scouts a condition of his own.
He wants a truly complete package, with the number of his own men well into the double digits. Furthermore, a non-negotiable request: broad decision-making power. That is, the ability to identify players without having to clash with Ibrahimovic, who is not a Milan employee.
This last point is precisely an issue on which Rangnick demands clarity. Austria are gearing up for the World Cup and have proposed a contract extension to Rangnick until the 2028 European Championship, and the federation president made this move public on Friday.
Ralf now wants to put an end to the situation, with a yes or no from Milan, who reached out to him. He doesn’t intend to make it to the first games (in ten days, vs. Jordan), with doubts remaining. If an agreement is reached with Milan, managing the World Cup might not be easy.
Glasner ready to go
Rangnick has selected Oliver Glasner as the coach, but if the German’s arrival at Casa Milan falls through, the now-former Crystal Palace manager still has a chance of getting the job anyway.
Those close to Glasner describe him as enthusiastic about the opportunity to lead the first big club of his career. For this reason, he wasn’t disappointed that Bayer Leverkusen – who had been interested in him – chose Carles Martínez Novell.
Glasner showed up for Tuesday’s face-to-face meeting with Cardinale and Ibrahimovic after thoroughly studying the squad to explain how he would like the team to play. He’s already committed to the new project and is awaiting the call.
Otherwise, he’ll dedicate himself to his beloved golf in Mallorca and wait for a call-up during the season from another project that appeals. The alternative for Milan is Ramon Planes as director and Mauricio Pochettino as coach. The latter, however, also has the World Cup ‘problem’.
It will be interesting to see what kind of players will arrive(if we somehow manage to complete managment positions) that suits Glasner’s style.
What I have seen from Palace last season he prefers 3421 in attack and 442 while defending. With Modric and Rabiot most likely departing after WC, midfield depth is questionable, as is attacks.
So it would be neccesery to get at least 1 quality CB and 1 rotational, one midfielder, 2 false 9’s and 2 centar fowards. Thats minimum of 6 quality players and there will be only a month aproximatly after WC finishes to get players for his system as well as sell the likes of Leao, Tomori and so..
We are in for a hot summer to say the least..
If the alternative is Planes and freaking Poch you’d think there’s not much to ponder 🤔

Glasner in times of experience he is limited in coaching experience yes he won Europa league yes does he have record on winning league titles and champions league the answer is no that why I’m crying 😭😭😭 here for Acmilan to get a quality coach that handle the players coordinate them and put them in order this Glasner this Cardinale Glasner is not making sense at all.
None of Milan coaches won anything before joining Milan. This club has always bet on coaches.
Sacchi, Capello, Zaccheroni, Ancelotti, Allegri and Pioli NEVER won anything before coming to Milan. So Oliver Glasner would be considered as a top coach. Smh
Carlo Ancelotti and Sacchi too had not won anything before their appointments to AC Milan.
Kelechi, kindly name a few coaches/managers who started their careers at a big club and also have champions league experience before they’re hired
