Reports stated that, instead of agreeing to join the club, Ralf Rangnick had decided against joining the club, due to the time taken to make a decision. A major blow to the project.

In the latest edition of the bonus podcast, Isak and Ben discussed whether the ‘Italian core’ rumours are actually realistic for AC Milan.
In the last few weeks, following yet another disappointing season, some outlets have suggested that Milan could focus more on their talents for the 2026-27 season. That is, essentially, focusing more on Italian players and what the media has labelled as an Italian core.

Matteo Gabbia and Davide Bartesaghi are already crucial players in the team, but the likes of Francesco Camarda, Christian Comotto, Lorenzo Torriano and Kevin Zeroli could be knocking at the door. Not to mention that some Futuro and Primavera players have impressed.
That being said, is it realistic for Milan to go down this path? And if they do, how should they go about things? That is exactly what Isak and Ben discussed in the latest bonus podcast, sharing their thoughts on the aforementioned players and such a project as a whole.

Yesterday, June 12th, marked the third anniversary of Silvio Berlusconi’s death. There’s no need to remind you what Silvio Berlusconi meant to Italian football, and to
AC Milan in particular: he was simply the greatest President ever, in both categories. In 31 years at the helm of the Rossoneri, he led them to a total of 28 trophies, helping several teams go down in history: Sacchi’s, Capello’s, and Ancelotti’s, to name just three. An epic that marked the history of football and also changed it, in many ways. A period that today, given the highly embarrassing situation AC Milan finds itself in, fans look back on with nostalgia and melancholy.
FOUL SHOW OR PRECISE CHOICE? AC MILAN DOESN’T REMIND YOU OF BERLUSCONI
Well, perhaps all this should be remembered by those who occupy Casa Milan today, or should occupy it. In fact, yesterday, on the third anniversary of the death of the greatest President in the club’s history, the club itself didn’t even express a memory, didn’t publish a single photo or thought on its communication channels. Everything went unnoticed, and the question arose spontaneously: was it a blunder or a deliberate choice not to remember those who did what the current Milan doesn’t even come close to doing? The affront remains, and this gesture, whether a serious oversight or a cynical decision, has not gone unnoticed, casting even more discredit on the name and crest of Milan.

AC Milan fans are stupid to accept such dictatorship.
A message to all Milan fans, I know its hard to say it, but don’t renew your season tickets, don’t attend any home matches, don’t buy any Milan shirts or other Milan goods or merchandise, and see what happens when Ibra and Cardinales money reduces, forcing them to sell club to someone who truly appreciates the history and cares about it. As the current owner is being disrespectful to the club, it’s history and all fans including myself.
I hate seeing what is happening to us.

AC Milan’s current situation in 2026:
1. Identity Crisis (Data vs. Culture)
Milan is stuck between RedBird’s American data-driven approach and traditional Italian football culture. Constantly switching between different tactical philosophies—like moving from pragmatic managers to high-pressing systems—creates tactical confusion and ruins team chemistry. To succeed, the club must commit to one clear sporting identity.
2. Transfer Market Disadvantage
Leaving the manager and sporting director positions vacant into June paralyzes recruitment. Top players and agents hesitate to sign when a club lacks a defined project, which directly hurts Milan’s ability to negotiate transfers and build a competitive squad for next season.
3. Management Bottleneck
Running a top-tier club without a permanent CEO and a localized sporting director is a massive operational mistake. Football decisions cannot be micromanaged from a corporate office in New York based solely on financial metrics. Milan desperately needs a unified, local leadership team to make quick, football-first decisions.

Elliott sold Milan to Redturd because they had to finance a major part of the loan from Elliott. With the high interest that Elliott offered to Redturd they hoped that Redturd would default on the loan and then they could take back the club for literally free then sell it again to owners who can’t financially buy the club so that they can also default and Elliott keeps making money off of these low budget owners.
Berlusconi is the one who screwed Milan when he sold the club to the Chinese consortium Li Yonghong knowing that they didn’t have the money to run the club properly
Berlusconi refused to accept a full cash offer from Rocco Commisso before he decided to buy Fiorentina.
Commisso didn’t need a loan to buy Milan and he was a Milan fan as well. If Berlusconi had sold Milan to Rocco Commisso we wouldn’t be in this mess.
