Massimiliano Allegri has made a demand of his players after they dropped more points, but the ‘real Milan’ is yet to come.
Saturday night’s game against Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardini showed the two-faced nature of this Milan side. They played brilliantly for 40 minutes and went two goals up, but then let in a goal out of nowhere which inspired the home side to come out guns blazing in the second half and equalise.

Then, the Rossoneri woke up again and generated multiple huge chances to snatch it at the end. However, just like against Juventus and in other games this season, they were not taken and a point would have to do.
‘A questionable attitude’
Speaking in his weekly column for MilanNews, Antonio Vitiello took stock of things at Milan as we enter the final international break of the year, after a negative result at the Tardini.

our lapses in concentration against lower sides are a fixable thing. We are generating tons of chances against all sides, have been going through an injury crisis and our CF cant score to save his life. All in all and still 2 points away from the leaders. I’m optimistic. Imagine if Santi wakes up a bit ( he did well at Feyernoord, it’s not like he forgot to score) OR if we finally get Puli, Rabiot, Rafa, Nkunku and heck even Jashari healthy at the same time. It’s a few tweaks and playing once a week, we got a shot.
I think this is a perfect assessment! We might actually have more than just a shot if we bring in a target man type ST in January to compete with Nkunku and Gimenez. Forza Milan!
Exactly, against big teams motivation is automatic, against middle and relegation teams underrated become our attitude which is the result of 2 points loss.
When you sit back and allow teams to attack you shouldn’t be surprised when a player gets on the end of a cross. Let’s be honest, ACM’s first goal was due to keeper error. When Pulisic came on the formation switched so more bodies were forward. I prefer a team that attacks and keeps the other team on the back foot. With 3 center backs and keeping one outside back available to defend, you should be fine to deal with a counterattack, especially against a team like Parma that looked slow.
