What was said between Bonucci and Rebic on the field in Milan’s draw against Juve

By Oliver Fisher -

There were some flashpoints during AC Milan’s 1-1 draw with Juventus last night, and the battle between Ante Rebic and Leonardo Bonucci drew some attention.

As MilanLive writes, there was an incident that ignited the second half at the Allianz Stadium, but there was no provocative gesture on the pitch from Bonucci towards Rebic. On the contrary, everything arose due to some protests that came from fans, and Rebic reacted by trying to silence the Bianconeri supporters because he was annoyed.

At that point Bonucci intervened on behalf of his fans and spoke at a distance with the Croatian, ordering him to stop with a gesture. “You don’t say shut up to me,” Bonucci shouted at Rebic as per the report, but ultimately such a response helped Rebic to react on the pitch.

A few minutes later the former Eintracht man scored a header from a corner to steal a point for his side and make it goals in three straight games against Juve.

  1. Bonucci is a clown anyway. As the whole Juve team. All they do is whine and dive, whine and dive. Bunch of crybabies. Chiellini is almost 2m tall and spends 50% of the time rolling over on the pitch from the tiniest contacts. Pathetic.
