We are approaching that time in the season when shirt leaks begin to gather momentum ahead of the upcoming campaign, and there has been some big news regarding AC Milan.
Milan this season hold the rather strange distinction of having worn six different outfield shirts. In addition to the standard home, away and third kits, there was also a special edition 125th anniversary jersey released, as well as two different fourth shirts in collaboration with Off-White.
Each has produces a range of responses. For example, the 2024-25 home shirt – with equal width stripes and a white trim – has generally been well-received by the fans. The away shirt is inoffensive, the 125th gained positive reviews, but the fourth shirts caused a storm.
What we know about the shirts for next season – which will again be made by PUMA – starts from the same foundation as every season. There will be a red and black home shirt, a white away shirt and the third shirt is a bit more experimental.
Milan’s 2025-26 home shirt
The most information that is currently circulating concerns the home shirt, the famous red and black stripes. The good news is that there will be no messing around regarding those stripes: they will be equal width again, just like this season.
However, the leaks have caused a divide for one reason in particular. Opaleak were the first to report that the badge will be altered, and instead of the normal version PUMA will go with a monochromatic (two-tone, red and white) version of the crest.
Moreover, there is a slight pattern that is seen within the stripes, which looks like it resembles flames. It is perhaps a nod to the theme of hell, given that the club’s nickname is the Diavolo (devils).
As expected, the change away from the ‘classic’ crest has drawn very mixed reviews, though it does feel as if the shirt itself is a solid effort and shouldn’t garner too much outrage.

Milan’s 2025-26 away shirt
Speaking of altered badges, we come to the away kit. La Gazzetta dello Sport were the first to report that for next season Milan will use their ‘Diavoletto’ logo – meaning ‘little devil’ – instead of the classic oval crest.
It is a badge that first emerged over 40 years ago, and is the silhouette of a devil created from three flames. Rather than the star (representing 10 Scudetti won) sitting above the badge it was at the side back then, so it remains to be seen if they will stick with that for the full retro feel.
The Diavoletto was first introduced by Milan in 1979 and immediately appeared on the shirts. It remained on Milan’s shirts until 1982, then it appeared on tickets, stickers, season tickets, official pins, on the club bus until 1986.
On 20 February 1986 Berlusconi bought Milan and decided to radically change the club’s image and he did away with the devil, which remained associated with those complicated years in Serie B.
😈 #ACMilan will use the 'Diavoletto' (little devil) logo on their white 2025-26 away shirt, according to @lucabianchin7.

Milan’s 2025-26 third shirt
Finally, we come to the third shirt, which is generally one that the Rossoneri have used to push the boat out in recent seasons. In 2023-24 for example it was an almost psychedelic purple, pink, sapphire and green number, while this season it is ‘grey with fresh mint’. Like a mojito.
According to Opaleak, Milan’s 2025-26 third kit is expected to be mainly yellow with light brown and light grey accents. The club and sponsor logos on the shirt will be red, so they should in theory really stand out.
Yellow is a colour that PUMA (and Adidas before) have regularly used for the goalkeeper shirts but is rarely used for outfield player kits. The last time Milan wore yellow was in the 2014-15 season, for the third shirt, and before that in the 1990s.
Footy Headlines are also reporting the same information regarding the palette being used, but they have ‘no info on the exact design of the new Milan 2025-2026 third jersey yet’.
The shirt that many will remember is the 1995-97 third shirt made by Lotto, worn for two seasons and which became a bit of a collector’s item, especially the version with the Scudetto shield sewn on.
Are you a fan of the leaks that have so far emerged for next season? Whatever happens, the shirts will certainly look a lot better if there were to somehow be a Champions League patch on the sleeve.
I like the new home kit except for the strange monochromatic badge. Just use the normal badge. The background pattern to me looks like the diavoletto image.
I really like this year’s away kit. Hope it is something similar. I like the Diavoletto badge idea for the away kit.
3rd kit. Am open to the yellow kit idea. 3rd kits should be something that offers a strikingly different colour combo to the other 2 kits.
No doubt they will do at least 5 kits again.
Why get a new kit and move out of Milan.
As long as you call yourself ‘AC Milan’ people will still think you are.
Why are you still here b*tching? Go to your semprecomo already.
Seriously.
How funny is it that we used to have a shirt sponsor of “Pooh”.
It would have been the perfect sponsor for this season.
Go away from Pums, go back to adidas or choose Nike!!!
