AC Milan have several players away on international duty currently and they will expect their returns later this month, in most cases.
Unfortunately – or fortunately, depending on how you view it – the World Cup is heading to its conclusion and that means we are getting even closer to the return of club football. Though Milan have already kicked off their pre-season, as seen last night.

The returns
With the World Cup coming to its conclusion, Milan will not get ready for the arrival of several of their stars, both new and old, as Antonio Vitiello reports (via Francesco Nasato on X).
It starts with Pervis Estupinan, who will return at the earliest on July 24. A few days later, Amorim will welcome four more returnees on July 29, those being: Christian Pulisic, Santiago Gimenez, Goncalo Ramos and Rafael Leao.
Having lost to Spain on Friday, the two Belgium players – Alexis Saelemaekers and Koni De Winter – will return later, on August 2, even if they did not get much game time during the tournament.
Finally, Mike Maignan and Adrien Rabiot will be welcomed back to camp on August 12. A match with Spain tonight will decide if they reach the final, but either way, they will be given more than enough time to rest.
It is worth noting that these are only the dates when they are scheduled to return; they can, of course, come back to training earlier than that.
