A study compiled the ranking of all clubs for stadium revenues in 2024-25, and AC Milan just about make the top 20 in Europe.
A list put together by Football Benchmark (via MilanNews24) looks at the stadium earnings among the major European football clubs. Real Madrid top the list, generating €232.6m in revenue from the renovation of the new Santiago Bernabéu.

Behind Los Blancos, we find other great European powerhouses: Manchester United with €190.7m, Arsenal at €183m, PSG with €176.6m and Barcelona at €150.2m.
In the European top 20, three Italian clubs are present. In ninth place are Inter, who earned €103.6m thanks largely to their run to the Champions League final. In 17th place is Milan, with €69.5m in stadium revenue, while Juventus occupy 19th place, with €65.4m.
The study also analyses the impact of stadium takings on the clubs’ total revenue figures. The three Italian clubs have similar percentages: Inter generate 19% of their revenue from San Siro, Juventus 18% and Milan 17%.
Real Madrid – the top-ranked club – get 20% of their over €1bn from the Bernabeu, a figure that underscores the importance of stadium revenue for elite clubs, especially those with modern and competitive facilities.
The new San Siro project takes on greater importance for Milan and Inter, therefore, in their bid to trim the gap with Europe’s elite.
Higher stadium revenues = higher ticket prices and an emphasis is selling tat to tourists.

I’m not sure what the poet wanted to say with this article. RM generates 20% of their revenue from stadium and Milan gets 17%.
3% is not such a shocking difference.
Main point should have been the total gap in revenue, to which stadium % is applied. If there’s no program, content, offering, reason, motivation- people will not flock to the stadiums. Reason and motivation will be – people want to align themselves with the winners because people feel great when their club wins. The even made studies about this – we won as Milan, but Milan lost. That’s also the main difference between real and plastic fans. There’s also a purpose in each one of them. Real fans fill out the stadiums in majority of the cases. Plastic fans pass by, visit the museum, eat at the stadium etc.

It’s not the percentage of revenues that’s the reason why Real’s revenues are so high but it’s ability to attract, pay and keep top players so people spend money to come to the stadium to watch. It’s a continuous cycle that starts with winning. PSG is another example of a team who made far less than us and have now doubled their revenues because they’ve attracted top talent. Kids now don’t know about Milan, they know about Mbappe,. Neymar etc and sadly we don’t or are not able to attract those caliber of players anymore. That ship sadly has sailed
Milan’s total revenues were something like 490M this season.
3% of 490M is 14.7M. That could almost buy you a decent player.
For perspective, Pulisic and Reijnders cost 20M each.

Guys – I think you are missing the point here.
14.7M will not save Milan in the lon run. Rhat’s a rounding error in Real Madrid’s revenue – no matter it sounds like massive money to us. Of course it’s better to have it, then not have it, but it doesn’t really move the needle.
