AC Milan are pushing hard for Ardon Jashari and the player wants the move, but Club Brugge are proving to be a tough nut to crack (again).
Today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) recall that Jashari left San Siro with a 6.5 in their player ratings after the Champions League match against the Rossoneri last October. He got a passing grade also in the clash with Juventus, and high praise in the two legs against Atalanta.

At 22 years old, the Swiss already has 11 appearances in the Champions League behind him: an excellent base. Of these, almost half were against Italian teams. In four matches he has never personally come out defeated (except for the 3-1 loss to Milan).
The Champions League is a factor in the negotiations between the Rossoneri and the Blauw-Zwart: in Belgium they would like to keep Jashari at least until the third preliminary round, with the first leg set for August 5. The return match a week later and possible play-offs August 19-26.
A possible compromise
Milan has little interest in the Belgians’ sporting agenda, but the element risks becoming a crux of the deal. Or perhaps an opportunity: leave Ardon in the team until the beginning of August, and then have him without the need for a further increase in the offer of €30m.
The certainty is that the Rossoneri will not add another euro to the proposal submitted. It will now be up to the player, and his manager, to seek a diplomatic exit. The 22-year-old has made it clear he wants to join Milan, and for him the sooner the better.
His salary is absolutely sustainable, while for his transfer fee – as mentioned – the club has presented an offer of €30m. It is an offer with which the Rossoneri believe they recognises his value: Ardon is a young prospect, who can be developed even more. A premise that authorises the large investment.
Tough negotiations
Jashari also definitively conquered the Swiss national team, playing as a starter in the last outing against the United States. He got another 45 minutes in the friendly test against Mexico.
Before joining the team on a permanent basis, he had played a total of two minutes against the Czech Republic and Portugal. Minutes to remember: one, for his full debut in September 2022, in the Nations League. The other in the round of 16 of the World Cup lost against Portugal.
For all the aforementioned reasons, Brugge’s position is also legitimate, stubborn in asking for at least €35m as a fixed base to sell. There is time to overcome the resistance, especially if in the meantime Jashari and the agent try to weaken it.
Milan would then be ready to do its part with a check for €30m, already authorised by the owners. Signed by the CEO Giorgio Furlani, but ideally also by the sporting director Tare, his great admirer. And signed by Max Allegri: every choice passes through his supervision.
Not saying it’s a good idea (or that there’s any truth to the article), but I wonder what the hypothetical scope is to sign the player and loan him back for one month. Obviously the injury risk makes it unlikely to happen, but that same risk would exist if he were pre season training here.
Again, not a serious proposal or suggestion, just curious whether it would be allowed.
Well it makes no sense to do this when you can just sign the transfer agreement with a later execution date. Milan can agree and sign in June to sign a player on 1st of August.
you can also sign a pre-agreed transfer(deal with a later execution date) so everything is signed but transfer is effective from certain date f.e. 15 august or smthng
I think Club B are behaving like spoilt children, if the players want’s the move, it is pointless trying to stop him, sooner or later they will have to allow the move, all they are doing is making it harder for themselves to find a replacement, especially if they are playing CLeague qualifying round.
I say get JaviG and put this deal in back burner, let Jashari agent earn his wages by dealing with Club BruggA!!
Why? They’ve got a contract with him which the player willingly entered, they can easily say they’re not riscinding that contract if they want. History suggests they’ll be willing to sell late in the window and not lose out anything of a monitory value. Then they can bed their replacement in during the league campaign.
Ohh to be in such an ideal world, clubs have little power, every day some player with their agent is forcing a move to a different club, see what Goykeras is doing, players have all the power (I hate this), see Calhaniglu the snake now turning on Inter.
It is just the ManU speculation that ClubBruggA are wising on, when that disappears they will bend to the will of the player, Milan going for JaviG in the interim is perfect and will put ClubBruggA on edge

Loan deals are a minimum of 6 months and s maximum of one season according to FIFA rules.
If they want him to stay until August offer shouldn’t go over 25M, including bonuses. They want to play hardball and keep the player so he won’t have time to train with team enough.
Its not that they dont want him here, they just want as much money as possible and more important to them is to qualify for CL league phase cause every team gets extra 19mil just for qualifying. Purely buisness.

It’s business negotiation, if they want to keep the player to help them generate 19m, then we have to factor that revenue aspect in our negotiation of course, and use it as a leverage to save our money economically, because their decision to keep him until then affect out sporting plans as he will not train more in our pre season.
He plays in a crap league. No player from Belgium is worth more than €30 million.
35-40 mil for this kid is nuts. He’s 22 with a single season in Belgium under his belt…
