Igli Tare met with Francesco Camarda’s agent on Monday, and there are some decisions to make about his immediate future.
Tuttosport (via MilanPress) begin a report by stating that Camarda’s season was a mirror of Milan’s in the sense that it was disappointing. However, the disappointment does not come from the numbers, but rather the way that he was handled.
Milan Futuro should have been his permanent home this year and instead he was tossed from one place to another. He collected important minutes in Serie A and the Champions League, but without ever shining too much barring a disallowed goal, and often being an unused substitute.
No Futuro for Francesco
Now Milan Futuro have been relegated to Serie D, that option will be crossed out for Camarda. What is even more ironic is that the 17-year-old could not play in the relegation play-off against SPAL because he had not racked up enough appearances in a team that he was meant to help lead.
Perhaps the most likely option for Camarda in 2025-26 is now a loan, given that Santiago Gimenez will become the full-time starting striker from next season and another centre-forward is expected to arrive as the deputy.
Camarda is still very young and it is not right to put further pressure on him, but at the same time he is at a crucial point in his development. Another year of being shuttled around from bench to bench will do no good for anyone, and his performance against Monza showed he is ready.

BS… Keep Gimenez and Camarda. Abraham can go back to Roma and Jovic can renew (he is a good super sub). This is the best oportunity for the lad to develop and fit into the structure as we are only playing for the scudeto and copa next season.
If he goes out on loan, then I will seriously start doubting Tare.
Allegri handled Pato very well and can certainly do the same for Camarda.
Let Allegri come and decide first. If the coach tells that let Camarda stay, I will develop him like Pato then also we will need a Lukaku type target man striker but Camarda will still get developed. Maybe Tare would listen then as the coach wants it. I just hope things don’t go for Camarda the way it went for Kerkez. I lament that loss. Kerkez could have been used especially when Theo didn’t have a back up (Bartesaghi should have been sent on loan to Monza or Genoa or a Serie B side). Kerkez exploded in AZ and now in that EPL team whatever it’s name is.
Another lament I will have is if Simic turns out to be good. He also deserved minutes. He was tall and well built and I feel like he would have been better than Gabbia. Actually, development can take place when the team plays well. You are 10 points ahead of the pack in Serie A so fine, let’s play some youngsters because room is there…..You have won 3 first games in C-League so fine let’s play youngsters in the fourth game, give them exposure. But when the team is performing poorly and need to win every match to achieve some revised target, who will take the risk of playing a youngster, not even Helenio Herrera or The Great Nereo Rocco.
Why can’t we find a spot for him in the team? Is it that difficult? OK, better he goes to a midtable team and plays, but why would they take a gamble on a guy who has never scored a senior goal? He’ll end up on the bench to start wherever he goes, so why not have control over those minutes and loan out in winter if it would be beneficial?
Is Carmada playing in the team the problem we have or how to get better?
Or are you all trying to say Carmada is the solution to Milan’s woes?
