Against both Inter and Chelsea, Francesco Camarda was a starter up front, and the results were virtually the same: very few touches and a lot of duels lost. The teenager is still unprepared for matches of this level against opponents who are more physically and experienced than him.
It’s right to focus on young players, but it’s even more important to believe in a project that can develop them, and the debate surrounding Camarda is growing regarding potentially loaning him out again.
The secondary option seems to be to revive Santiago Gimenez, who is working at Milanello to recover from the ankle problem that has plagued him for the past six or seven months. It’s worth noting that Milan seem to be entertaining interest from Porto and Lazio.
It remains to be seen whether Milan will decide to return to the market to sign an additional striker for Amorim. The Swiss international Embolo from Rennes has been offered by intermediaries, and it could all hinge on the final call on Camarda.

Agree that it seems very strange that Maignan is continuing private training and didn’t attend the Baresi funeral.
When he signed that last extension. I’m sure there would have been some agreement about letting him go in the future for any reasonable offer.
I think it could be telling that Amorin used Torriani exclusively in the 3 friendlies so far. Without any rotation. I know P Terracciano was listed as injured. But when you 10 to 11 changes for every other position. Surprising that the other Futuro keeper didn’t at least get 10 mins at the end of one of those games.
Perhaps Amorin needed max time to know if Torriani is ready to be number 1 keeper.

At this point, I don’t really care anymore whether we sign (too) old players or not, we are slowly but surely entering the panic phase right now and it’s only going to be worse by the day. It’s like free agents don’t exist for us at all, not sure why that is the case but it’s one thing that worries (and annoys) me a lot.
I’ll bet anyone Milan will destroy the career of both Kostic and Camarda. The smartest kid out of the Milan youth teams was Liberalli. Left, played a season, now he is going to Serie A and CL, he’ll get minutes…

I wouldn’t mind embolo, he’s a decent player but he has anger issues, so if we sign him we should try to go 1 million lower than rennes wants, and don’t spend anything over 15 million on him.

Joaquin panichelli or franculino dju, check about these two mate. These are strikers in there position. I dont know why we are still searching.
I see the Divock Origi and Zapata scenario repeating itself, with the club signing strikers as secondary options or “market opportunities” at low prices, often ending up with an expensive bench without making a significant contribution on the pitch. Therefore, the only available option is a loan with an option to buy, rather than a direct purchase. A mediocre deal doesn’t meet the expectations of a club the size of Milan attack. A player with Embolo qualities as an attacking solution for Milan reflects a decline in their goal scoring ambitions, and a team aiming to compete for domestic and continental titles shouldn’t rely on a striker who only scored 8 goals last season.
This is a repeat of the policy of temporary fixes that don’t make a difference in major tournaments. 👎
