Just as it seemed as though Yunus Musah’s sale to Napoli would be completed quickly, they have hit a snag in talks with AC Milan.
When the first rumours of negotiations between Milan and Napoli for the transfer of Musah emerged, it seemed that a ‘lightning operation’ could be set up between the two teams, and that the American would soon head to join Antonio Conte’s team.

Musah deal stalls
Instead, the situation seems to have hit the buffers. As reported by Fabrizio Romano on his Italian YouTube channel (via MilanNews), the negotiations are currently blocked.
The obstacle that hinders the handshake between the two clubs is the agreement on bonuses. There are problems in finding a meeting point both on the amount of add-ons and the structure of them, i.e. whether they are easy or more difficult to achieve.

It seems like the kind of thing that will be quickly resolved, but, Romano confirms, it is an important and substantial part of the operation, so talks will continue to try reach a handshake.
An agreement between Musah and Napoli has been there for days. The former Valencia man will be able to move once the managements of the two clubs find a point of agreement on the bonus issue.
As a reminder, Matteo Moretto reported over the weekend that the Rossoneri and the Partenopei had already agreed to resume discussions this week.

Ignoring the Musah-thing, Napoli are REALLY making efforts to strengthening their team. The players they have been linked with are something else. And again, I’m not suggesting Musah here. 😀

Furlani Furlani… be a smart man and sell him even for 20m€ + 2-3m€ in bonuses… you still make a profit and also make a room for better player..
Hope this deal don’t collapse…
Rat boy Furlani is greedy with this donkey Musah but gives away Reijnders hassle-free.
What’s the point of Igli Tare, if it’s yet again Furlani who agrees or not with a transfer ?
At this point I think Tare is just a façade, a scape goat for when things turn bad (and they eventually will) the attention will be focused on the false SD and not on Furlani, Cardinale, Ibra,…
Calm down. Tare’s role is to determine with the coach whether a player is dispensable or not or whether a player is needed, Furlani is still in charge of the finances and financial operations on deals for incoming and outgoing transfers. Tare alone cannot determine how much a player is bought or sold.
So basically Tare is a bit of a scout. This whole thing doesn’t make sense.
How can he do his job properly if each time a decision has to be made, he has to report to Furlani who agrees with it or not. At this point, let’s jut let Furlani do the negociations and just give him a list of players to handle…. Oops, already done that for 2 seasons and look where we are now.
The SD should be given full autonomy on how to deal with the squad. The only thing Furlani should do is defining the budget.
Of course he is, we know the tune.
The mafia at the helm hasn’t changed a bit. It’s a house of cards built on personal interests. Jerry looks for fame for him and capital gain for redbird through a new stadium and revolutionising Serie A. Furlani is reporting to Singer only and probably has more power than Jerry himself. Neither Furlani nor Singer care if the team sinks, they could recoup their money anyway. Moncada, Zlatan, Scaroni want to keep their power and hefty pay checks. None of these clowns care about the club. They promise a revolution every six months and it raises optimism among the media and some fans.
This is why Milan can’t and doesn’t even try to attract top names but rather some jobless has beens in Tare and Allegri. Like Fonseca or Conceicao before. Both inexpensive, both easy to terminate when the time comes. Meanwhile they will have to ask for every penny the same way Maldini, Boban, Massara had to fight with the bankers.
It’s Furlani’s job to sell our best players for the lowest possible price, Tare’s to pick the most uninspired washed up players he can find, and Allegri’s to play the most prehistoric football known to man, simple.
100%
I’m guessing Milan are trying to make the bonus thresholds very low as they know the players limitations….
😉
Everything at this club is a f***ing saga. It’s tiring!
Just get the 25m and send him packing… Furlani is such an idiot
Nooo, what are we doing? We almost completely took Napoli for a ride and now we’re messing up. Like an amateur poker player, we got greedy, ugh.
Is anyone else worried about what Conte can turn Musah into?
Our environment last several years had been distressed at the club, through which several players remained productive, but most regressed. Take Musah out of that and bring him into a better run club with a specialist manager and you will probably get a revitalized player in the style of Anguissa.
If Tare and Allegri manage to act as an umbrella and shield the players from the constant BS of the management (like Allegri did at Juve) then we might actually see an improved season, with or without Musah.
“Is anyone else worried about what Conte can turn Musah into?” Yes, I am. I worte the same in different article that I’m trying to wrap my head around why Conte would want him. It could be a back up to Zambo but that’s an expensive backup . However at the same time, I dont think we’ll do a good job of developing him anyway
