Camarda experienced a rollercoaster ride in Lecce. There was his first Serie A goal against Bologna, the almost father-son relationship he built with Di Francesco, and then the abrupt setback. A right shoulder injury in January and the resulting surgery sidelined him for much of 2026..
Overall, however, the striker gained valuable experience, making 23 appearances this season despite physical problems. Milan, from this perspective, prefer to look at the glass half full. Back in January, they considered bringing him back, but Lecce opposed it.
In Salento, Camarda lived almost two seasons in one. First the shy boy seeking his own space, then the warrior who, in the decisive final month of the season, came in and fought for every ball. Since his return, Lecce won three of their last five games, securing survival in the process.

In my wet dreams it would be Maldini-Camarda-Liberali for the attack, for years to come. Or maybe Diego Sia as well… but 2 had already been transferred, and I don’t feel confident in this Milan board handling the remaining 2
