GdS: Window opens for Romagnoli to stay at Milan but another hurdle arises

AC Milan are still in negotiations with Alessio Romagnoli over the potential extension of his contract but now another hurdle has arisen, a report claims.

Romagnoli has been at Milan since 2015 but his time at the club is at risk of being over and he could go to another club in Italy on a free transfer, with Lazio the team strongest linked, but rumours continue to surface suggesting the Rossoneri haven’t given up yet.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), negotiations are ongoing over a potential contract extension but the talks risk running aground due to the commissions demanded by the player’s agent Mino Raiola.

Despite this, a window has opened and he could potentially stay at Milan after all, despite all the widespread speculation that Sven Botman will arrive from Lille and the fact he has lost his spot in the starting line-up to Pierre Kalulu.
