Real Madrid are preparing to launch a new era under Xabi Alonso, and Theo Hernandez is among the potential welcome gifts he could get.
As Calciomercato.com report, Carlo Ancelotti’s era is ending in the worst possible way, just one year after the triumph in the Champions League at Wembley, with Real Madrid on their way to closing the season without any major titles.
He will leave his position as head coach and Florentino Perez’s choice to replace him is Xabi Alonso. The Spaniard will depart Bayer Leverkusen, and from the Club World Cup that starts in June will have the task of bringing a breath of fresh air.
Theo among Xabi Alonso’s Real Madrid targets?
The season that is about to end has shown that there are many gaps in the current Real Madrid squad, due to players in a downward spiral, injuries and several who have performed far from their expectations.
According to Chiringuito TV, the club’s will is to arrive at the Club World Cup in the United States with three new additions to the squad. One will be the arrival of Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, with negotiations on to bring forward his signing on a pre-contract.
A centre-back and a left-back are the other priorities. For the former, Dean Hujsen of Bournemouth is someone they like but several Premier League teams and Bayern Munich are keen, so he would cost €50-60m.
Diario AS recently spoke of renewed interest in Theo Hernandez for the left-back role. He has been in a strange situation for several months, of stalemate regarding the negotiation for a contract renewal more specifically, with his deal expiring next June.
The Frenchman has always expressed his intention to stay at Milan but while there is no contract news, the temptation of returning to Real Madrid intrigues him. Los Blancos are considering the possibility of making an offer that does not involve a large outlay.
Hah. Please do us a favor. The gift nobody wants. Real Madid’s defense is bad enough as it is. Now they are going to add Trent Alexander Arnold on one side and Theo on the other. Neither one plays any defense. They’ll be conceding about 5 goals per game.
Trent will feast in Xabi’s 3421 formation.
You’re definitely an Inter fan undercover 🤣
Hahahaha he’s the ultimate Theo hater. I aspire to be that level of hate one day (sarc) haha 😅
If he stay, it’s okey, if he goes it’s also okey. More importent will be future of Raijnders and Pulisic. Since we play 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1 he is definitely better, but not the best. I believe there is a better options… if he want to go back to Real, its understandable. But if he stay I’m okey with him
If there are better options out there, why are Real targeting Theo instead of the so-called ‘better’ players. If Real wants you in their starting line up, that means you are one of the best, if not the best, in your position.
Tell that to Jovic
Touché
Xabi wants to bring thiaw to madrid ?
Ok – they may not have been super this year but clown furlani and his brothers should asap make a bold statement of intent to all – FUKC OFF LEAO, THEO, MAIGNAN, REJINDEERS AND PULISIC. THEY ARE OURS AND WILL REMAIN OURS.
50m + jimenez clause removed should be ok if Theo wants to leave. I would prefer to keep Theo now if we plan to stick with 3 atb.. with a better passer and smarter link up player instead of Leao in front of him Theo will cook hard in this role.
All i want is for Leao to leave the club – 70-80mil for him we can get Ricci and a quality player for LW/SS role
This club has bunch of clown fans. They want their best players to leave the club so they can prove the theory.
Inter has been building their team for years by keeping their core and buy better players or substitute the sold players with another cheaper players that later becomes star.
How many good players Milan bought in this Redbirds era that make you trust them to buy better players when they sell Leap and Theo. Is there any better option?
Better to hold on them, fix other positions that become flaws and later upgrade each positions.
It’s not a bunch, it’s only a handful of Gerryboys. Don’t bother and lose sleep over them, they’ll be out once Gerry packs his bags. Which will come sooner or later considering he’s an incompetent egomaniac and is losing more money every coming season.
What’s sad is, they call themselves Milan fans while they support and cheer on complete destruction of what once was an actual competitve team. So no, don’t confuse them for fans.
RealMadrid should go in for Nuno mendes or a left back who plays well NOT Theo Hernandez he is not Good at All. Fiorentino Perez should look for a ball playing left back who tackle well too than Theo. Please We The Madridistas beg you
I’m ok with the departure of Theo, Musah, RLC, Florenzi, Bennacer, Alvaro and Adli.
2 quality Midfielder, 1 LCB, 1 LWB
Rotations for Pavlovic, Tiji and Fofana.
Replacement for Theo.
Tbh, we are stacked in attk, I’m fine with giving Caramada a chance over Tammy staying, bring back Alexis for quality and grit in the middle. Pulisic and Rafa can play as false 9’s if any serious injury to a striker, doubtful since the schedule would be easier without champions league.
