AC Milan are enjoying hearing about how well Yacine Adli is getting on during his loan spell at Bordeaux, as they get ready to welcome him for the 2022-23 season.
La Gazzetta dello Sport writes how Adli nearly put himself top of the pile for the Puskas award during Bordeaux’s game against Strasbourg, during which he shot from the halfway line and scored, but the referee decided to disallow it because he had not blown his whistle for play to restart.
Nonetheless, Adli has now put Bordeaux on his shoulders in their fight against relegation. Les Girondins are fourth-bottom with 20 points, one ahead of Metz and 3 from Lorient. Adli was bought by the Rossoneri over the summer for€10m and was left on loan, with Bordeaux now probably glad they got him back.
So far the playmaker has played all 22 league games, with 6 assists and 1 goal in that period. In a 3-2 defeat against PSG, Adli received the compliments of Titì Henry: “You were brave, today I saw a new Adli.”
If it were up to Adli he would have packed his bags in the summer and moved to Milan immediately, but another season in France can only do him good, and while waiting to know the fate of other players the Rossoneri management can rest assured that they have secured a gym.

I have seen most of Bordeaux games this season, and Adli is a beautiful attacking midfielder. He is gonna put Diaz on the bench for good. He still has some room for growth though, but he is an intelligent lad, and will only get better.
Good, but how about we start chasing players who are leading the battle against important objectives like winning their championships again?
We have only bought Maignan in that regard recently.
There’s nothing to smile about in seeing somebody “leading Bordeaux’s battle against the drop”. That’s just sounds retarded.
“Smile” is a wrong word in this context. As well as in many other articles.
