The Yankees Entertainment and Sport Network have confirmed that they will air AC Milan matches from September 6 onwards.
The announcement video confirms that the YES channel will air ‘encores’ of Milan games, which we presume to be re-runs given the pre-existing rights deals involving live Serie A games.
The news comes after RedBird Capital completed their €1.2bn takeover of Milan yesterday, with Gerry Cardinale being closely involved with Yankee Global Enterprises and the organisation as a whole.

More advertising for Milan = more people watching Milan = more chances of getting new fans = more income from merchandise / shirts / sponsors etc
