AC Milan Women’s midfielder, Yui Hasegawa, made Japan’s Olympics roster.

The midfielder will play for Japan in their upcoming friendly matches in the MS and AD Cup. She will then represent her country in the 32nd Olympiad. Hasegawa has also expressed how honored and grateful she is to make the roster and has promised to give her all to ensure that Japan wins the gold medal. The Olympics will take place between July 23rd to August 8th in Japan, as they are the host nation.

Yui has also stated that it is Japan’s goal to win the tournament on home soil.

Stine Larsen

Aston Villa recently announced that forward Stine Larsen has left the team. The club states that Stine will leave the team once her contract ends at the end of June. As was noted before, Larsen has most likely undergone a medical with Milan and will soon join the team.

A profile of the player and how much of a boon she’ll be to Milan will be written soon.

The AC Milan Women are currently on hiatus and will reconvene in July in preparation for their Champions League qualifiers. Whether Yui or Stine will join them remains yet to be seen.
