Sky: Zlatan plays alongside his son Maximilian in training match at Milanello

There was something quite interesting that happened during AC Milan’s training session today as Zlatan Ibrahimovic played with his son, a report claims.

Peppe Di Stefano spoke on Sky (via MilanNews) and recalled the events at Milanello today. As always happens on the day after a game, the players who did not play the day prior played in a practice match against one of Milan’s youth teams.

Today it happened to be the Under 18s, a team in which the son of Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Maximilian, born in 2006 – plays for. However, Zlatan did not play with his senior team-mates and instead decided to line up alongside his son, therefore for the U18s.

No details are given regarding whether either of them scored or what the full-time result was, but it is certainly eye-opening the have seen the 41-year-old play alongside his 16-year-old son as he looks ahead to a return from injury.
