Milan Futuro twice led against Nuova Sondrio at the Stadio Felice Chinetti in Solbiate Arno, but were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw.

The Futuro got back to winning ways last Sunday afternoon as they edged past Oltrepò BFC 1-0 thanks to a second half goal from winter signing Jacopo Sardo. That meant they jumped into second given that Chievo, USD Casatese and Villa Valle all dropped points.
Today there was a big chance to consolidate that play-off position and the match started well for the home side, who took the lead in the seventh minute with a penalty converted by Chaka Traore.
Emanuele Sala and his team-mates then controlled the game, but in the 23rd minute they conceded an equaliser courtesy of Longo, who flicked in a corner.
The second half continued in the same vein. Geroli put the Rossoneri back in front in the 58th minute: the as he received a pass from Sala intended for Branca in the box, turned and beat Uccelletti.
However, in the 81st minute, Kanta made it 2-2 when he found himself with a loose ball in the box and, capitalising on Cappelletti’s slow reaction time and beating Torriani.
With the draw between Milan Futuro and Nuova Sondrio, Oddo’s team climbs to 46 points in the standings after 28 games, still in second place but tied with ChievoVerona. The away side meanwhile remain second-last.
